Good work Nutso! I am still not able to run with this muscle strain in rib cage area :-(. My new job is great though I haven’t really started yet, but so far it’s good! Just need to get fit again and get logging some miles!!

Boo to PF and dodgy calves. I'm afraid that the PF will take a long time Mandy. Lem, hope you get running again soon, I think you'll have to get walking in the meantime. |

Thanks for the links, much appreciated. Until I opened the first vid I thought I recognised the stretch ~ and I kinda do ... but I can see the benefits of changing what I've been doing to doing it this way Again, many thanks |

Thanks for posting Nutso - they have helped my calf/Achilles so just need to stick to a daily routine now. Fantastic news Lemon MM - bittersweet news but now you know what you are dealing with. Congratulations on the 5000 mark |

No 10 milers logged so far this month, don't forget it's not too late to upload times for previous races (1 mile / 5km / 5 miles) in January Tomorrow is our Burns Night run - you don't need to run it tomorrow if you are too full from all that haggis and whisky ;-). The idea of the monthly challenge is to log your fastest race pace for the month - this is our first event of this type so please bear with me whilst I iron out any issues. The event can be found here fetcheveryone.com/viewracedetails.php?id=2063916 |

Tens are still beyond me at the moment, BUT</I> that they are there to aim at is helping me focus on moving forward I've been lurgied this past week and the pancreatic issues means I'm restricted as to what I can take for it*. So a fair bit of walking to keep the pumps going but not much running * Which is fantastic as infections raise body temperature and an excessively high body temp can cause an excessive increase in uptake (aka 'accidental overdose') of the pain killer I take for the pancreas ... got to love a good balancing act |

Hi Womble! So I think I am recovered enough to try a run this week and let’s say I run a mile - can I use that mile time for the Burns night event as that will be my fastest pace this month (as I have not yet run at all this month).
