Happy New Year gang! :)

Hope you and MrLem are better soon Lem, at least you could have a few sick days to kick off the year. ;-)

Nut, I can't believe you're still going on with that physio stuff. Good luck with your January challenge, but take care that you don't injure yourself.

I kicked my year off with parkrun this morning, it was great fun in the rain and a great mud fest. :)

Well done Alpen! Are you off skiing soon? My sister and family are at Salen in Sweden I think, lots of snow there.

I think a sick day tomorrow is likely unless I do a Lazarus style recovery overnight. I might have to re-start the year again maybe next weekend!

Yeah, stay home this week and make sure that you're really well before you go back Lem. :)

I'll be off in a couple of weeks. :)

Lem10 - sounds like what I had over Christmas. I debated whether to go to docs or not as I know they can't give you anything for flu, but as soon as I said it had settled in my chest I was told to come straight in and got a prescription for amoxycillin. Might be worth calling your docs tomo.

Its a bad one for the chest, this virus that’s going around at the moment. I had a chesty cough for nearly two weeks. It’s still lingering a bit but it’s nearly gone now.

I’ve been looking back at my year end stats and, although I ran 5 fewer miles in 2017 than 2016, I ran for 10 hours longer than 2016. I’m not sure whether this counts as a win or not.

Happy New Year everyone and here is to a better and brighter 2018.

Thought I would pop in to wave my pom poms as one of our SAPS only went and got a PB on NYD - Nutso did it in style by knocking over 2 mins off of her previous PB, not sure what she was drinking on NYE but can I have some ;-) Fantastic running.

So for those of you interested in the SAP mile this month, you can find it here: fetcheveryone.com/viewracedetails.php?id=2031841

Right I am off to quickly blog about 2017 - just the nice bits :-/ and then I suppose I should get ready for work - first day back = early start in London and meeting the Director and Management of my new project - commuter life be kind to me.

PS> I am doing Ranuary - anyone else doing this?
