Evening all! Back to work for me tomorrow, so glad I booked leave for today! 10 work days left in my current job (yes, I am counting them down!). Now it's the end of the year and I am thinking about the virtual races for next year. Do people still want them? Does anyone fancy being RD? I can carry on but I do sometimes find it hard to do the race reports on iPad and not sure if I can get away with it at my new work on my lunch breaks, time will tell. If anyone is keen to take it on please let me know, if not I will carry on if people still want the races and you'll have to bear with me if the race round ups are delayed!! Anyway, let me know what you think... No run today, the weather was grim most of the day, alternating between seriously windy (neighbours fence panels flying round our garden) and sleety. So I stayed in the warm, cooked a ham, made some vegetarian alternatives to sausage rolls and did lots of laundry. I am also itching to put away the Christmas decs but feel I should leave them til the weekend (I never keep them up much after Christmas, not bah humbug I just can't be doing with clutter!). |

My sister took hers down too, mind you she is off skiing tomorrow for a week and won't want the hassle when she gets back. Hmm, maybe tomorrow after work!

Good luck with the count down Lemon. I would like to continue with the SAP races and can be RD again if no one throws their hat in. I shall be away until 1st Jan but can set up the races when I am back. Any takers??? |

OK, count me in for SAP RD for 2018 - I shall be setting up 4 times = 1 mile, 5km, 5 miles and 10 miles. I shall space them out across a month (one weekend each) but you can do your times whenever and I shall collect in the results at the beginning of the next month. To get us going I have set up January's:- 1 mile = fetcheveryone.com/viewracedetails.php?id=2031841 5 km = fetcheveryone.com/viewracedetails.php?id=2031844 5 miles = fetcheveryone.com/viewracedetails.php?id=2031845 10 miles = fetcheveryone.com/viewracedetails.php?id=2031847 Don't forget to comment back here in regard to what race you did and how it went - we are not competing with one another but against ourselves - either to get a PB or to improve fitness and record the journey. Have fun |

*Is excited already!* Thanks Womble! I really hugely appreciate it! I am so jarred off here at work, its freezing (only got plug in electric heaters working) and one colleague today is doing my head in. I am trying not to rise to it, not long now, just got to grin and bear it for 9 and a half more days! |
