I wondered whether to go with a colour but decided that black accesorises with pretty much everything :-)

Previously I've only ever used apps on my fone* to track runs, rides and walks; So lots of things to learn and new data to play with ;-)

* and then a stopwatch ... even less trip feedback.

Nice one dec. :)

LG, does anyone ever use any gadgets to their full potential? We just use what we need.

Happy Boxing Day everyone. :)

I'll be off out on a bike ride this morning while the weather's fine and I've decided to bin the SAP 10 after all.

I know my resting pulse is slow* but the overnight reading from the watch was a bit of a shocker ~ for a good chunk of time it dropped to 24 bpm :-o

* I don't know why though ~ running is the explanation the NHS like to trot out and fob me off with, I'm not that fit :-o

I have similar readings occasionally Dec. I find that with it being wrist based it's not very accurate. I've noticed during bootcamp my pulse stats can be quite low despite working hard, I put that down to blood flow being in lower body because of the particular exercise I'm doing at the time. It then jumps high and spikes seconds later. Most accurate way to measure is good old chest strap. My resting HR tends to between 42-47 through the few hours I wear it during the day. Unfortunately I can't wear it all the time as I react to the strap and it leaves an awful rash. Try pairing a chest strap with it and see GP if it's giving the same readings?

Belated merry Christmas and happy boxing day everyone.

Kwala get well soon x

That sounds like a nice little breakaway Nut. Enjoy yourself and I hope the ankle's okay.

I'm off to Weymouth tomorrow for a little Twixmas break and hope to have a run with a fetchie while I'm there.

[early bird ~ hospital has investigated, which is how I know it's about right. They've given me the all clear based, basically, on 'You run a bit. It's probably that' ... that I occasionally collapse is of no interest to them as fainting is perfectly normal ;-) . In addition I've recently been put onto Fentanyl and Prozac, both of which have a sedetative effect. The lowest the ave. rate went down to over night was 24 ~ which was corroborated by waking up feeling knackered! :-) ]
