Evening folks
Pity things are getting in the way at the moment Stewie, hope it improves soon.
Well done on the streak Nutso.
I like the 5 mile distance:-) just a push a bit from a 5k but not quite doubling up to a 10k.
Ran a 3 miles last night - first since Sunday due to getting the lurgy this week :-( . Apart from an annoying cough I feel fine again. We have Alfie tonight so don't know if I will get to parkrun in the morni, he loves to take his time in the morning;-)

So off the back of my legs and arms hating me I set a parkrun pb at Worsley woods this morning of 28.39! Dunno where it came from but it's 7 seconds faster than my Huddersfield one 😲😀😃. Tomorrow is a well earned rest day!

plodded a treacly 8 miler this morning - no energy whatsoever in some bits of it but really enjoyed other bits. have had a run of not running when I "should" this year (coughs/colds/work/kids etc.) and I think it's had an impact. We're doing a family thing tomorrow so no LSR then, hence popping out for a bit this morning, might try and fir another couple of miles in today and then try for a reasonable run on Monday.

it's hard sometimes isn't ti?

nutso, you were flying!

bunting L10 awesome
Mulbs the next one will be better.

We got to parkrun this morning, it was windy but ran with DQ and heard Alfie's chat along the way. Qe then met DQ's grandson so went to the local cafe for our usual post run catch up and the boys went to play in the science area...both loved it so that was nice. He is now safely back home with mum & dad so a quiet night for us.

We have a Fetch mile event here tomorrow so that should be good :-)

LG, glad you're nearly back to normal again, hope that cough soon buggers off completely.
Nut, all that hard work's finally starting to pay off, well done on the pb. :)
mulbs, sorry it's not too good for you lately but I'm sure you'll get back on it - not too long til Liverpool now for you. :-o Get out early on Monday and have a good one. :)

Stew, I wonder if you'll get to meet mulbs at Liverpool, have you got any Fetch stickers yet? ;-)

Lem, great achievement! Hope you're okay. :) medal

I got to parkrun today, first one since I bailed on Christmas Eve. Almost my PW, but I did it. I now have a figure for the Joker Project so hopefully will manage to crack that long held pb this year.

Yeah may well bump into Mulbs at the the Liverpool, I'll be wearing my fetch t shirt I reckon :)
Over at my dads yesterday cos he 's not so good at the minute but after sorting him out it gave me the opportunity to do a 5 miler around St Helens, it was good cos it was all uphill for the first 1 mile plus but my left Achilles is a bit crunchy today, anyway hope youre all well and injury free and having a good Easter :)
