Hi Stew, wondering where you'd got to. Shame that work's interfering with life and running for you, hope you can get enough in before your half though.

Hi guys, yeah life just gets in the way sometimes and im struggling to get the time to get my longer mileage runs in sometimes, best ive managed recently was a 9 miler about 3 weeks ago, having said that my pace has been improving so thats something

Hope you manage to get out for a longer one over Easter. Good that your pace is improving - I wish mine would.

I'd better check up on when our "races" are coming up and sign up for some. No long foreign holidays planned now so I'll have to concentrate really hard from now on.

We've got a week in Skiathos planned in July and that's about it for us this year, we've had some great hols over the last few years but the firm I'm working for now has to have its holidays dictated to it by the Jaguar land rover, which on the one hand means holidays when they say so but on the other hand gives me 6 weeks paid holidays every year plus a floating week for myself, its a hard life ;)

Third day running on the bounce today, inc pt wed and a swim today! I'm genuinely not sure what hates me most my upper or lower body!

1) Keep doing my leg exercises and add ankles to the plan
2) Cto5k/10k my way
3) Concentrate on 5k then 10k times
4) Try to get to +300 miles in a year (plus 1000 walking miles)
5) Arrive at the BH marathon start line fit and healthy, and have fun whilst covering the challenge

1) to start building some strength and flexibility work into my week
2) to get back in to walking every day for at least 30 mins
3) to shift some of the extra heft I've gained this year
