Well Stewie I suppose I am, in that I look almost every day, but I am trying to stick this job out a bit longer if I can for the money. I would love part time and it would be very good for me health-wise. There is a part time post in my organisation which may become vacant in the new year, the lady there is looking for full time work. That would be 3 days one week and 2 days the next and so on. Bit of a dull job and a huge drop in pay, but it would be great hours for me. Mr Lemon is also looking, he used to love his job but it's changed a lot and is now very frustrating a lot of the time. Maybe 2017 will be the year we get sorted with new roles!

LG, like you I reckon I would keep very busy if I was part time, so much to do and so little time!

You'll do 700 next year Stewie, I am back in the 700 thread for next year although I find the thread very hard to keep up with, it moves so fast and there are so many people in there!

Well good luck Lem, I had my exit interview with my boss and HR yesterday, I was a little nervous to say the least, but the first thing my boss said was 'right Stew, this is about you now mate, what can we do to make it right for you ?' I will be leaving in 2 weeks on Friday, I'm kinda sad but also relieved, on to pastures new and I'm sure you will be too Lem :)

I managed 500 miles a few yrs ago but with the Loch Ness marathon coming up in Sept I really need to get cracking, I'm going to make the effort to run in different areas next year as well, bored to tears with the same old routes.

I don't know how I ever managed to find the time to work full time. Yesterday I was occupied from 7am to 8pm, and none of that was work, or running - and I don't even have any kids!

I'm tentatively thinking 700 for next year, I can do it if I'm not injured, which would be a first.

The 2017 SAP virtual race series is up! The eagle eyed amongst you will have noticed there is no ten miler for this month, because it would have been on Christmas day, However if you want to run 10 miles on Christmas Day please feel free! **Please get permission from the head chef before buggering off out for a 10 mile run on Christmas Day for the sake of household harmony**

For 2017 the first 1 Mile race is a week late on 8 Jan because although I am sure plenty of us will run on 1 Jan I am prepared to let you all have the day off if you like :-) Once the race series kicks in though I want to see some effort! Get those legs pumping people, let's see some kick-ass PBs in 2017!

Also I will do the write up for Nov and Dec soon in a bumper end of year roundup of our racing. Look out for the blog post any day now...

Nutso Lazytoad!
AR Your doing fab even if you don't quite hit that target this year
LG That's fantastic mileage for December would be an amazing achievement with Christmas and all that

L10 Lol at the speed session let us know how you get on! Sounds like you too have a manic week on the cards. Thanks for entering the races for us I will add them now :)

Stew good luck with your target :) sounds like your old company are being good eggs about it

I have succeeded thus far in gyming yesterday and today I suspect it will get easier as the week goes on as less people around to care where I am!
