Nothing gets past you Alpen! Got in from work and Mr Lemon said he'd forgotten we were off today when he planned that, so we just ran today, but I should have run it really, five months today I think to Windermere and that won't be easy.

People doing London seem to be starting their training this week and that's a month earlier. ;-) I think that health-wise you've been a lot better this year but work's been a bit pants for you. Let's hope you keep well and just make that extra effort to get out the door. You're lucky you've got such a good running buddy so close. heart ;-)

I got out bug squishing and did 5 miles too. :)

Hit the nail on the head Alpen, my health was much better but head not great due to work. Got to make sure that I don't get down next year and stay positive.

We've been watching a series of you tube videos by Run Steep Get High and it's mainly Jamil Coury and his training for different races. The one we watched last night he said he had five months training for Barkley marathon 2017 and it reminded me I had five months til Windermere. (Mind you, have you seen Barkley marathon, oh my lord what an evil race that is!!)

I think I am in a good place now to start my training. I've got a couple of other races in mind in the lead up to it to keep me focused as well. It helps that I am livid with myself for not training enough last year and having to drop out, then see Mr L finish without me. That's my motivation for this one, I can see the finish line and I fully intend to cross it this time around!

Well done Alpen and Santa for the bug squishing, yay for cuddles with your girls later and best of luck at PT Nutso!

L10 sounds like your in the right place for your training we will support and kick up the bum as needed! Thank you I needed it!

Well pt was very ouchy with lots of new stuff in the boy bit of the gym! Feeling very accomplished and pleased I squeezed one in before Christmas. Although it hurt to wash my hair in the shower so lord k owns what tomorrow will be like.

Well done Nut. :) Do you think the DOMS will have worn off by Boxing Day? I'd love to do that race. I had a little walk there when I was up your way in October and stayed at the Chevin Chase hotel last year with a little run along the top whilst there.
