*Awaits Nut's result*

I've done my run. My problem is that my Garmin suddenly decided to reset itself a couple of days ago and now won't upload. :-p

It's supposed to get cold down here tomorrow and possibly foggy in the morning. Not too foggy, I hope, as I'm off to the Isle of Wight for a "Twixmas" break to get away from all the madness. :)

Belated Merry Christmas to you all!

We had such a lovely day yesterday with family - all 20 of us! Luckily it was at a hotel so nobody had to stress over the cooking. The wee man was on fine form and was so good all day even though he didn't get his usual afternoon nap!

Crazy weather here. Tshirts yesterday at parkrun and snow today! Planned rest day from running for me too though we may just wrap up and go for a wee walk to help counteract the vegging in front of the tv ;)

I'm one happy SAP runner. Early this morning I did a 5 miler and hit my goal for the year - 1500 miles - with a few days to spare.

Unity what a huge amount of miles run this year! bunting I doff my hat to you, what an inspiration! I aim to do more next year but not that many!!

Well done Nutso on your race medal and also congrats LG on your high mileage too bunting

No run for me over Christmas for the first time since I started running, just no time and no energy for it. It was all a bit exhausting, I ended up with irritable bowel syndrome on 26th Dec for two days so it spoiled my last couple of days off and I was back to work yesterday which was like hell on wheels after being closed for 2 days.

Next year Christmas will be different, not sure yet how but we were both shattered by the end of it and had so much food left over. Lessons you learn I suppose. Now just looking forward to the new year, we have got nothing booked for the new years weekend which makes me very happy indeed :-) and we can go running and relax!

I hope you are all full of beans and raring to go for 2017, I will be by this weekend!
