It’s bloody annoying, we had years of players like prime Watson/May/JJ/Manu (when fit), but largely played box kick territory/possession directed by Youngs/Farrel.
Now we have a pair of half backs who look like they could rip teams to shreds, but outside of them it’s a muddled mess and gives them nothing to work with.
Jones will now used this as an excuse to revert to box kick/territory - watch Youngs get selected for Ireland.

Have we not watched England in the last 20 years? It’s pack driven, low risk, kick heavy rugby. Even our World Cup winning side wasn’t expansive, tindall the battering ram, Wilkinson’s boot and a dash of flair from Robinson.

England are also, to be fair to them bedding in new players at 8, 9, 10 and 15 all of whom are in their first year of international rugby.
Fraser Dingwall is a decent English 12 and is having a good game for Saints today. Eddie doesn’t seem keen though. Can’t understand why he loves Ewels but no cap for Dave Ribbans either

Tough red card on Italy - just as it was starting to look like a decent contest. Two hookers out of the game as well as a man down. As a neutral, it's probably not worth watching now.
