Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Teams being named for the weekends matches.

England is the usual team for this championship. No gainline threat, no pace out wide.

Ireland team looks good.

3 away teams maybe a good bet for this weekend. I’m currently backing France by 8; Ireland by 6; Scotland by 15

"Steyn comes in for the banned Duhan van der Merwe."

Hust reading the BBC Sport website, didn't realise it was 2025 already?

Yes agree Fields everything points to 3 away wins, probably all fairly comfortable.

Being 6N one of the games will probably be much closer than expected but still can;t see an actual upset but maybe a losing BP for someone.

Hello all been a tad busy last few months so have missed about 450 posts. I am not reading them!

For the first time in many years there are about 10k seats available on friday, many french fans staying away apparently.

At £100 each for the cheapest ticket I am not surprised.
Ireland
Hopefully Wales might sneak it

Just sat down on a flight home to Bristol from a work trip to Toulouse and it's full of French rugby fans. Gonna be an interesting 90 minutes.

Friday night games must hammer the numbers for the Welsh fans coming over the bridge due to the need for hotel / day off work etc. Is it possible to get back to England by train afterward?

No! I've just realised I'm doing overtime on Friday :-( I'll probably miss the start and be too knackered to enjoy it :-(

About This Thread

OK been on walkabout but off we go on 5th Feb with Ireland v Wales.
Hopefully we will all be playing at the correct grounds and with more than a few spectators to cheer, sing, not make too much of an arse of themselves through too much of what makes them lose themselves.

Thread title has been changed so thanks for that whoever updated it.
