Very amusing flight last night. Easyjet flight attendants very stressed having to confiscate contraband alcohol from many French people. Typical bumpy sideways landing at Bristol which ended in a round of applause at the back.

Caused massive delays at security as very few of their passports were working on the automatic gates. We used to have our own daily charter plane for work travel and a separate bespoke terminal but since covid we have to slum it on Easyjet or spend all day travelling via other routes.

Bristol Airport on top of the hill is always fun TM. One time coming back from Amsterdam the pilot had to abort, it's the only time I've looked at the crew (i.e. it's fine unless they start panicking) and seen them worried!

Hopefully the French team have been similarly traumatised - I think it's the only way Wales will win. Likely to be a similar scoreline to the U20s.

B Rubble Nearly everyone on the flight who wasn't travelling for the rugby is either an Airbus or industry associated employee so pretty relaxed about it. As someone who worked in flight physics (mainly aircraft loads) for 15 years very little bothers me nowadays, particularly on our aircraft.

OK been on walkabout but off we go on 5th Feb with Ireland v Wales.
Hopefully we will all be playing at the correct grounds and with more than a few spectators to cheer, sing, not make too much of an arse of themselves through too much of what makes them lose themselves.
