Agree, England need a gain line crosser at 12. I don’t think Tuilagi is an option he’s too fragile. Wingers on the wing, not bits and pieces players. Malins is the new Alex Goode. Daly shocking again defensively - for me he’s a winger at international level but nothing else.

Thought it was a bit harsh to blame Hogg for that knock on, the pass was poor. Totally blame Chris Harris for that. Shame was he could’ve stepped and scored himself (probably) if he’d believed! I have to say that, disappointed as I was/am with the score/result/performance, it was such an amazing atmosphere. I love watching rugby with the French. And they deserved to win. |

Spent the evening watching the recordings as had been out doing some of that running stuff. The Eng-Wal game first up was an insipid, uninspiring, error-prone event. Englands didn't win; Wales lost, by gifting England all their points. Luckily I saved the Scot-Fra game for dessert. What a completely different spectacle and so much more enjoyable. Skill, passion and athleticism. Scotland were good, France were fantastic. |

I did exactly what Flanker did and in same order. Lol. Missed first half if England Wales, which seems I missed nothing. Second hald was an interesting spectacle. Scotland France game was cracking. But given I was supporting Scotland and Wales it was disappointing in terms of results. Scotland breakaway runners have to avoid getting isolated, need to learn to have clear outs with them. They must have got turned over or penalised a dozen times by French jackal. |

I was really disappointed with England’s non-try scoring. While a bonus point win was unlikely, they were in the Wales 22 enough times to score more than 1 try. These days you need to score tries, move the scoreboard along in 5 and 7 point increments. And a bonus point could come in handy should France lose. I note Jones has called the last 3 matches (Wales, Ireland, France) a mini World Cup knockout. Perhaps that was behind the “take the 3 mentality”. But as a rule you need to score 30 points to beat NZ for example. Making the match a tight arm wrestle means you can just as easily lose - SA are the masters of suffocating you into submission in a tight game. |

Wales used to to be good at that too. Watching this 6N has been painful

Gatland was the master of the arm wrestle. It wasn’t always that watchable though, and he was too conservative for my liking. He lost his WC semis by barely a few points. As Raemond said yesterday I think this Wales team is getting old. |

Fields when your outer backs consist of 3 players out of position and 2 slower than most contestants on tipping point you are never going to score too many tries

Exactly! We are missing the speed of May and footwork of Watson.
