Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I believe it is called a sink strainer. It's for filtering out lost ipads, etc.

I went to put my watch and engagement ring on and had a minor panic when they weren't where they were supposed to be. Yep, you've guessed it! I was already wearing them 🤦‍♀️

At least it was last night and not in the morning Dio.

I said to the loon that I needed to go back out to the van to get my phones, I had them in my hand.

i've just spent the last minute watching a video, linked on the BBC news website, about the terrible flooding in Dublin today. Airport flooded, shopping malls washed out... I did think it odd that there seemed to be a lot of people of Asian appearance in the video. Then I realised it was Dubai, not Dublin.

Each morning I warm my coffee mug with hot water from the kettle, throw the water away then put my mug under the coffee machine spout.

Except today, when I did the first two steps then returned to the kettle and very nearly put more hot water in my mug.

Thinking my walk was taking a long time to come through - it'll help if you hit 'save" on the garmin...

About This Thread

Maintained by ChrisHB
This morning I went to charge my kindle and instead found myself trying to charge my coffee mug. It was my third coffee of the day as well, clearly not strong enough!

=============

I was just drying my hair after a shower, I switched the hairdryer on and suddenly the bedroom was plunged into darkness, the hairdryer wasn't working either. Great, the electrics have just tripped out.

I find a torch, go to the fuse box but nothing has tripped - turns out I pressed the light switch instead of the hairdryer 'on' button.
