I sent an email yesterday inviting someone to a difficult meeting. I give them two options, 7pm tonight or 6pm on Thursday.

They said tonight's was good for them.

I was cooking the tea when I suddenly thought sh1t, I need to get to the meeting place and dashed out of the house, arriving in good time for the 6pm appointment.

Except, of course, tonight's time was 7pm.

Well, at least I'm not late :-)

Fragile Do Not Bend
My husband just asked me why there was a yoghurt pot on the landing. It was there because I went upstairs this morning with it as I forgot I was holding it.

When I realised, I put it down intending to take it downstairs again. I’ve been up and down the stairs loads of times since and totally failed to notice it sitting there.

All day I've been working on the basis that I was going to go for a lunch time run. I was just about to check my WSW grid to plan a route. It was about this time when I realised I hadn't brought my running gear with me. I guess it is still in the hallway at home, unless I left it in the car...

...no, it’s not in the car. Despite being heavily invested in this planned run at no point did I think about bringing running kit with me.

I expect you've escaped a soaking or a very thorough soaking.

Going to walk instead. Should I wear a jacket?

Golf umbrella and top-grade waterproofs I would think. Was a torrential downpour here a few minutes ago.

It's OK Mulbs, since it's the senior moments, most of us wouldn't know if we'd seen it before or not.

About This Thread

Maintained by ChrisHB
This morning I went to charge my kindle and instead found myself trying to charge my coffee mug. It was my third coffee of the day as well, clearly not strong enough!

=============

I was just drying my hair after a shower, I switched the hairdryer on and suddenly the bedroom was plunged into darkness, the hairdryer wasn't working either. Great, the electrics have just tripped out.

I find a torch, go to the fuse box but nothing has tripped - turns out I pressed the light switch instead of the hairdryer 'on' button.
