Ive already entered this one . Sounds a great wee race in quite a scenic location. The sandwiches and cakes clinched it for me ..:-)

+1 for Gartmorn. Nice route with road/trail/wooden bridges and a loop round the loch. Easier on the way back for a negative split! Nice warm up for the Alloa Half a week later. I really hope I'm fit in time!

And not forgetting the cake!

FF, like others have said, it's multi terrain so trail shoes are recommended. We ( the Wee County Harriers) are trying to pitch it as a good value race (£7/£9 in advance), soemthing a bit diffferen trunning wise and a good feed after. If you have run it in the past, unfortuately the race HQ at the Diageo plant is no longer available so we will have something else nearby sorted for race day. I'll post details here and everywhere else I can think of to keep you up to date

Definitely a good feed afterwards. It's worth going on a diet the week before to prepare yourself for this.

attention West Lothian fetchies. I fancy running Bathgate to Linlithgow via Beecraigs but keeping off the main road as much as poss. Has anyone done this and can offer a good route, or perhaps make public a route on here or sumfink.
Much obliged and all that.
