The Tom Scott had one year away (Triathlon champs?) but returned to the Strathie. It went to Carluke and shared some of the five mile course so was yet another bumpy 10 miler.

I've put Tay 10 in my diary for next year. Got to be easier than Lasswade 10. So hopefully a chance of a PB. Possibly my last chance ?! :-) G

I'm doing Glen Clova this weekend, just wondering what the course is like?

Hi Lesley - Glen Clova is a lovely route (this will be my 9th consecutive running - clearly I'm biased!)

It's tarmac all the way, quiet road, but not closed to traffic. The occasional car will go past, they usually give you lots of room and a friendly toot! It's 6.5 miles eastwards on south side of glen, over bridge and 6.5 back along north side. Can be v. cold (we've had ice, snow, rain and wind) but it's Scotland in Nov! A sprinkling of snow on the tops of hills around and about just makes it lovely.

It's "undulating", almost never flat, but only 2 or 3 short, steepish climbs, mostly just rolling ups and downs. Small field (a few hundred?), very friendly and great atmosphere and chat.

Any other Qs?! :-) G

HappyG - you forgot the best and most important bit. Yummy stovies in the hotel at the finish :-)

Thanks guys, just wondering if it is easier than Stonehaven? Ideally would like a nice PB to end off the season.
