Elsewhere on the FB there was mention of investigatory runs and that it would be on the flatter bits of the park. I don't know it but I roughed out a route anyway. 2.5 laps with about 100m of elevation :-o llama. There's a particular up and down they could cut out ... and it would still be pretty bumpy.

I used to run around it a lot, it is flipping hilly! Not as long a climb as say Falkirk but tough. Anyway it will be my new ultra local only 8 min jog over there v. 20 min to get to Victoria.

Falkirk Parkrun earlier, sore throat and a tad slippy underfoot, ergo shite time.

Pollok and Springburn were both cancelled, sensibly so. I had been toying with going to Pollok today until I realised how icy it might be.

No, anything Scottish running/runner related. That's just a handy list. There used to be a fuller race list but it was a pita for the thread captain and a duplication of the race finder.

I read that a few people were injured in the x-c (including our own Metro_Nome) and there were a lot of drop-outs in-race, so they might feel a bit less well disposed.

(Won't catch me doing anything like that, either :-o.)

Yeah any distances but back to Ruchill again ;-)

Think that was the recce meeting I ran past the other day so checked my fly-bys and found this which may be a clue to what to expect

strava.com

That's an assumption based on

Looks farily firm grounds for the assumption ;-)

90-100m of climb in total :-o Thank goodness they are sticking to the "flatter" bits, then gorilla
