I'm just living in the same "walking" trousers that I always do. I never enjoy dressing up mutch - so I'm not about to start now!
We have some cut glass left from wedding presents - but we used them when we used to have parties and big family gathering so have nowhere near a full set of any style. They got put away in boxes when we decorated the dining room and now I haven't been able to go shopping for the new "unit" I'd like to put them and everything else displaced, back into.
Wedding china (28 yrs old this Oct) is pretty dated now, used to be used for "best" a few times a year but what's left is now in daily use - until it all breaks and I can have some new. I sold some leftover pieces of a very old tea set on a website where people want to replace broken china from sets - can't remember what it was called but selling bitw was worthwhile.

I'm pretty much of Raemond's opinion re jeans. I live in them. Sometimes leggings. I train in jeans and I go out (out out) in jeans. I've always had the sort of job where jeans are ok. I like dressing up ...but that involves jeans.
I once bought a suit (late 1980s) probably wore it once too. The jacket worked with jeans later.

Definitely use or lose your best china and glasses. That's what it's FOR.

I live in my jeans, or shorts until the weather broke. I like things with pockets! I also hate wearing tights so that puts me off skirts, but I do like a nice frock!

Jeans or shorts for me too. For work, I have a stack of trousers, mostly black, that fit me well, and comfortable tops in a shape that suits me. One of my post-lockdown expeditions will be to replace my plain t-shirts, which have all been through the washing machine so many times that they've shrunk in length and are NSFW without a jumper on top.

I don't do jeans, never got on with them. Technical trousers or shorts for me. Tog 24, Rab, or Alpkit currently. I recommend Tog 24 for nice t-shirts, V-rap. Technical but casual. And usually cheapish.
We have some lovely Royal Doulton crystal champagne flutes that only get an outing a couple of times a year, but that's because we don't drink fizz very often. So that's not really keeping for best, just for appropriate use, I suppose. They were a moving-in-together present from my parents about 27 years ago, along with a bottle of Moet et Chandon.
Going to paint my nails later.

Was laughing at V’raps wedding gifts very much like mine back in ‘84...long long the decanters and cutlery sets along with the patterned Pyrex dishes. I do a couple of years ago buy a decent cutlery set again as I got a very expensive one and a very good price.
Was thinking in changing in my frillies for my gym class but don’t think there is enough support.
I bought an expensive perfume to wear at my son’s wedding and try not to use it for work but that’s silly as it will go off and evaporate anyway.
