I quite like 00:30/00:30. I can put some effort into the run sections without worrying about overdoing it.

Run/walks over the last week, varied ratios from 50/40s to 80/55. Last week's parkrun felt a bit of a struggle: reckoned I basically needed to run more, and more often. And r/w, especially with the heat and running post-work, was needed to do that.

Finished up with a parkrun at 1:45/0:45. 35:09 @ 71% whr.

The dicky calf is holding up so far so onwards with the next phase of The Plan. Now at 60:30 for routine runs and maintaining 30:30 for longer runs on the weekend. And over time work to extend the run segments until I'm (hopefully) more or less back where I was. Which is flat road jaunts nonstop and hilly coastal path at 4:30 run and 0:30 walk.

In the meantime, just over 5 miles along the coastal path and sandy trails this morning was pleasant enough at 30:30. More time to enjoy the scenery.

Pam runs
I joined the 30min at 30/30sec gang today.

Averaged 9.49min mile.

Quite enjoyed some effort on the run sections.

Are you sprinting the runs, Pam runs, or do you walk very quickly? I doubt if I could get under 11 min/miles (more likely 11:30), and not for 30 minutes duration (ref yesterday's parkrun above).

Pam runs
Dvorak. I wouldn't say sprinting the runs but definitely putting some effort into them.
