If it becomes normal EPixie then we should acclimatise to 25-28c. They seem to be ok at those temperatures in parts of the world where it's normal. Didn't feel any more comfortable overall this morning to me, did 4.3 at 30/30 and kept pulse where I wanted it .

true Steve but I think it's more normal as in a few shock days will happen more often rather than overall warmer
I slept really badly last night so skipped the run commute and have just accepted this week will be a low week
but I've done 74m this month, the only month I was this high this year was Feb and I did 72 in the month and the same time that I have done the 74 in so progress!
Looks like I could do my first 100m month for a decade +!

See you on the other thread EPix! Well done on your miles this month. Another 4.4 to gym boss 30/30 . Really cool outside today at just 15c this morning, but it didn't give me a better time for my run which was thirty seconds slower overall!!

I think I will try 30:30 this weekend rather than 60:30
I'm volunteering at the Outlaw triathlon all weekend so will have tired legs run Saturday then bike Sunday with some walking support in the afternoon evening is the plan!

Pam runs
Steve45.
I'm guessing 30/30 is 30 seconds run 30 seconds walk? What sort of effort are your run parts would you say?

You're right Pam, 30 seconds of each. My efforts are currently confounded by my awaiting a cardiologist appointment. HR too high at very slow pace and GP picked up an abnormality after my ECG. So my efforts are only me getting HR in the 120's and cutting back when 130/135 is reached on hills. All very frustrating given my history. Now I'm on a run/walk break! After a difficult run/walk this morning after coughing at length all night I've joined my wife in the covid club. Positive tests. Ugh!
