yes
so I tried to do a 2hr run of 2mins:30 which is 48 repeats but it only does a max of 40

So I will use the calendar sessions as prompts then ignore them unless they are programmed right!

The number of repeats on gym boss is 100 which is easily repeated again by simple button push.
You're doing fabulously EvilP! I can just about tolerate run of two minutes currently and to I DO enjoy the walk bits. 30/30 early this morning over four miles.
I also find, like you, that often I simply walk when I feel like it without switching the gadget on. What I've come to be annoyed about on these 30/30 s is that I count my steps and know exactly when the beep is going to come!

Morning!
Thanks to the weather being a bit better today I did my run commute (won't happen Tuesday as it's 34 then!) which is 4.5m
The way is has much updulations so I didn't keep to the splits too well and then there was a stretch of over grown footpath which was less than idea.
Hoping the run home will be my longish run ... plan is to divert off about 3m which means if the heat is causing issues I carry on if all is good I go long!

😒
Walk at lunchtime 16 so I decided to extend my run home

Started with a 15 min walk down slightly overgrown footpath as a warm up

Did 30 mins of 2 mins 30s
Decided it was too hot

Dropped to 1 min 30s
Still really struggling

Stopped at 3m
Started the walk home (3m) and noticed pain in right hamstring… luckily I have a massage booked for tomorrow night

Not sure if I’m better walking to loosen leg or swim tomorrow morning (Friday is restish day!)

Overall looks like you did pretty well EvilPixie with over 7 miles done. Hope the hamstring was just it getting aggravated!
We all have our ways of responding to niggles don't we?! I would guess that walking or swimming would do no harm.
Pleased with a six miler at 30/30 (glad you know your steps too lin50 !),. temperature was perfect early this morning and I felt ok but still keeping an eye on my HR as well. Been a good week.

The issue was resolved steve45 by my inability to get up this morning!

Hamstring seems OK today which is good so hopefully ouchy man can sort anything brewing but ankle is stiff!! Falling apart

Wondering if a shorter interval like you guys do is better?
next few days look awful so not sure what I will be doing! haha

Sometimes doing nothing and merely not running resolves my niggles!
Stuff ankle! Oh heck Ep ! I do daily ankle exercises to keep them flexible cos I have a tendency to have an iffy right ankle.

Still on 30/30, another 5.5 this morning but overall slower on trails compared with roads all week

What ankle exercises do you do Steve? I need to start doing strength and conditioning really as I am older I can’t get away with just running I’m noticing!
6am run doing 1min 30 secs on post massage legs

Enjoyed it
Looks like early runs for next few days and reduced mileage

I bumped into another club runner at the start of parkrun this morning who said she was going to Jeff at 2mins run / 1 min walk, so I decided to join her. We ran through the first walk as it was still quite congested, first mile 10.59. Second mile was slower as we got caught behind some walkers at a bottleneck and then had a slow plod up cattle field hill. Third mile was another good one and we finished in 34.38. Really happy with that, slower than my usual parkrun pace, but I didn’t feel fatigued and it was actually a sensible pace in the heat.
