The track for me early doors before work today.

1 mile+ warm-up
4 x 800 metres (grass track) with 100 metres walk recovery (approx), sort of 5km pace for the 800 metres. Got gradually faster for the 800 metres.
1 mile+ cool-down

parkrun this morning was hard….very warm. 1.8 miles straight running then run/walk for the rest. Not much difference in pace between mile 1 (run) and mile 3 (run/walk).

To get to 10+ miles for the day, it was all walk this afternoon, in El Scorchio conditions. Just over 6 miles in 93 minutes.

After my pleasing 10k effort yesterday I had no energy on a four miler this morning. Even 30/30 was awful and 10/10 would have been nicer😂😂🤪
The early morning sunshine was fabulous, I don't mind heat either but my legs had nothing!
Hard to do such a close repeat of a good run Pam, as you say there's always next week.
Good sessions OTHT.
You did it though lin50 despite the heat which you found uncomfortable.
That's not likely to happen again LG!

Just under 11 miles using 3/2 in just over 2 hours. It was very very hot!

Otht. Well done for getting it done today in the heat. Impressive pace too for run/walk.

Went out at 8
Short walk as a warm up then 8m walk run which was mainly dictated by ups and heat! I planned route to make the shaded but the later bit but that meant a long incline to walk

Garmin said I did 3/4 of the time running overall

Have now set watch to 2.30:30 to see how I get on with set intervals
