That'll be a memorable run, Minardi I'm out My left knee isn't getting any better. It hurts when I walk and when I run now so I'm calling it a day for now and hoping that a few day's rest will be enough for it to heal.

Late show here: out for ten miles after 9pm yesterday. A large, yellowy orange crescent moon made a brief appearance and the sea was calm. Surprised by a man in dark clothing walking down the beach and later, by a heavily refreshed chap with a bright torch and one of those blue-eyed sheepdogs. Friendly drunks I can do!

8pm Off road recovery outing, taking in some gloomy beach. 3.2 miles, remarkable only for their mundanity.

oops sorry, forgot to check in!
I've found yesterday hard and today even harder - I've not run in the days following a marathon before and it's been painful!
Day 15 & Day 16 *tick*

The bare minimum of a mile is all I'd run after any race of 10 miles or more - and I've not raced for some years.
Well done for getting yourself out - and congratulations on your muddy, wet Mara too!

Thank-you, GM. I'm a fraud really!
Tonight, 8pm. Clear, calm and moonless. Negotiated the sand on the prom, crossed the sandhills and ran over the oddly corrugated sand to the damp sand flats, thence up to Crosby Leisure Centre - busy! - and home by the trails of the coastal park.
Setting off, saw a police car actually in Victoria Park, where I start almost all my runs...
