Another poetic run from you swittle, lovely
Finally escaped at 5 last night - still fuming but ran it off before I punched someone! (naming no names!!). He's under a lot of stress at the mo which means I get it all (another disadvantage to being self employed and just the two of you). I bite my lip and get on with it but sometimes - grrrrrrrrrrr.
I made a point of not leaving until 9 am this morning for my run!

Well managed, minardi. In a lousy day, the run is a sheltered backwater of calm, or I find it so.
GM: hope the support hastens your healing. Enjoy your holiday!
8pm. Odd start. A Range Rover drove into the park just as I set off. I kept a watching brief and skulked behind a hedge until it had gone. I suspect illicit drugs action....
Just a whisper of breeze over the lakes but strong enough to bring the tide flumping in. A controlled camp fire was burning in the dunes, so I steered well clear, torch off. You just don't know.... Over the top half of the coastal park and home.
19 for 19.

Nearer 9pm on a mild night, the moon washed out by cloud. 2.8 miles, mostly off road, in fact, a little too off road when I took a wrong turn down hill towards the smaller lake. Had the whole time to myself, excepting a young couple walking to the prom.
20 for 20.

Blimey Chrisity that is excellent news! I know you have battled achilles issues in the past, is that all sorted now?

Hopefully Brig, i did very little running for 4 years and that gave them time to heal. It's only when i run long distances that they flare up. I need to give them a good friction massage two or three times a week, but they seem to be surviving. I ran more miles last month than i have ever done, this retirement lark gives you time to run and rest.
