Was not expecting that result, well done Portugal!
Interesting quarterfinal coming up then.

Fabulous match, brilliant and fitting result. Sport at its absolute best. Take a bow Portugal.

Best result, Portugal get their first win but Fiji still qualify thanks to the LBP
I think England are going to make the SF now.

just a bit! a few errors by both teams but that just added to the excitement and passion of the game. watch it with the sound off, though. don't know who the co-commentator was but he was monotone and as dull as dishwater.

I agree with Gordon. It was a cracking game and Portugal should be congratulated for showing so much heart. I tuned in waiting for the inevitable Fijian sevens match, with them running in 4-5 tries at which point I would have switched off. Although Fiji were very poor (England should just kick to touch every time in the QF as the Fijian lineout is atrocious) Portugal kept up the pressure to the end. The last try seemed inevitable.

I listened to the match in the car on BBC 5X. They had 2 Aussies commentating. They were going hysterical. We cheered like loons when that last conversion went over.
