Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Good to read. I ran under cover of night, fearful of being ribbed by my rugby playing chums. They weren't laughing when I led the way on the stamina run at pre-season training!

So it wasn't just me then, Turkhish! On x-country runs from school, I'd take a two-shilling piece and stop for fish & chips! :-o

What makes a streak? Is it doing z certain distance or pace? Or just going out each day? I know he did "a run" when in a leg cast ... So is it s mile of any pace that includes something that you personally call s run?
No disrespect just curious!

I think it's miles each day above a certain pace, Pix. I'm no expert though.

I don't know if its because of my replaced hip but I struggle with injury if I try running streaks these days. 4 days in a row is my max and then I'm finding I need to rest or switch to cross training for a day.

Thats just me though.

Way back when I ran 6 days in 7 but given his age I wondered what the criteria was - is there one or is is a personal goal.

Just a curious pondering!
