Water bottle, coffee cup, sometimes a fork if I'm away. RS, can you share your folding cutlery set? Where did you get it. Kids have telescopic straws. Cups for everyone to parkrun. |

My workplace has a kettle and a cupboard full of mugs and crockery. The food I take to work does have packaging and I could reduce this by doing more food preparation at home but at the moment I have no inclination to take on that additional labour.

Water bottle, coffee cup, handkerchief to use as napkin, real fork, knife and spoon, fabric bag or two for shopping. Need to get a metal straw each for hubby and myself. Work has coffee mugs and very small glasses, though I have a couple of water bottles at work. |

My work place has plenty of real mugs, and as we don't hot desk many of us have our own real mugs at our desks. I am surprised how many people have bought keep cups to use at work. As far as I can see to "help the environment" they have bought an extra cup, and as less good one as it doesn't have a handle. Hopefully they do at least use them for any commuting coffee purchase! I only take my reusable mug with me when I am travelling for work, otherwise I am either at home, at work, or too cheap to buy coffee! |

This is the set and mine came in a tiny canvas bag: lifeventure.com One of the places I work at (university) charges 45p for hot water!! I don't use it but some of my colleagues pay to fill their flasks. We're casual staff so don't have an office or access to any facilities such as an equipped kitchen. |

Round up of "What's in Your Bag to avoid single-use" - Reusable Bottles - London has now put into place 50 water fountains: theguardian.com - Bags - Reusable Cup - for coffee / soup / - if it has a lid also great for making cous cous / boiling an egg - Reusable Cutlery (check out above for RS foldable) - Handkerchief to use as napkin / hand dryer - Metal Straw (do check the quality and remember to not run about with it in your mouth!!!) - Soap + Thermos with hot water + towel if you need to clean hands - A plate to eat at the canteen if it only uses disposable + take away container (though like RS using her coffee cup for take away) |

Gonna have to do a multi-day as will be cycling to my next marathon from tomorrow. Have a great weekend and see you on Monday Day 19: What can you replace "quick finger foods" (like crisps/canopes/etc) for parties? The food you suggest has to be just as quick to prepare Day 20: What can you suggest for V's lunch that would be fast for her to prepare to help her reduce her packaging? (V you still vegetarian?) Day 21: Any further ideas for Fetch's reduced packaging for his t-shirts? |

I used a cardboard cup (probably plastic lined I know) for water at work instead of the squish plastic things. Bloomin’ cleaner binned my effort to reuse. Grrr.

They look great RS! We have a 'helpful' cleaner, too, NJ Sometimes I put the things I want to reuse in the fridge as she doesn't clean in there. |

I’m on a FB group that is S’s prep school. People do a whole load of batch cooking/prep so there is pre-prepared lunches to just grab out of the fridge. I’ve not found time recently but did some Sunday afternoons singing away in the kitchen. I’d often prep something whilst dinner was cooking. I also tend to menu plan in such a way that there are leftovers for lunch.
