thanks to Facebook I have been back in touch with a school friend, we met up today and she told me it was 22yrs since we last saw each other! So a lot of catching up but was a lovely afternoon.

Today I am grateful that the car battery died after I had got to the school bus drop off point - there were loads of other parents there to jump start me. If it had done it at home I might have been stuck and QP would have got off the bus and noone would have been there. Also very grateful to one of the dads for jump starting the car.

Yeah GG I am ready for normal now. Storms, power cuts, snow, flooded roads and now battery. Sigh!

I'm grateful for feeling 'normal' again today after having a tooth removed on Thursday, and for being on a juice diet at a time when I don't feel like chewing anything!

Today I am grateful the roads are snow free, that the car made it to the petrol station on the flashy light and my dad was totally fine with me forgetting his birthday (I think the power cut and snow were a good enough excuse)
