Tues - that BillyW's first day went well
Weds - that both kids are back at school at last
Thurs - that the work meeting went well and finished on time

Guardians of the galaxy wasn't as bad as I expected. I loved the soundtrack and laughed quite a lot too. My experimental beetroot salad with honey & ginger dressing was amazing.

That LittleDiva's hosptial appointment was OK. That SS and OH sorted out their differences. That my Dad wasn't in a worse condition after his fall.

That a fellow volunteer at parkrun yesterday was sincerely surprised to find that I was old enough to have a married daughter, and that I'd not given birth to her when I was a mere teen myself. It was a nice boost.

Paula - that is always lovely boost.

Grateful that the forecast was wrong yesterday and it stayed dry for our walk today. We will have to go back on a clearer day to do the view justice but it was great none the less.

Today I was grateful for an early morning bike ride. Also for a chat with my sister. Now I am grateful for my bed.

Wednesday I was grateful to be in London with the rest of the team and for a good dinner out talking about non-work things
Thursday I was grateful for a very generous offer from friends (a free holiday at their place in france)
Friday I was grateful to see lots of old friends at a party
Saturday I was grateful for a quiet day with K
Sunday I was grateful to survive the race and for a locely medal and goodie bag
Today I am grateful to my lovely line manager for her kind words and support
