Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch
or for an ad-free Fetcheveryone experience!

All good here Ness. Since I finished PJ I've been toying with HR training. I also seem to be only running 3 times a week instead of 4, missing the interval sessions I'd planned :-( I did my Sheepy Shuffle half marathon Sunday and was very close to a PB for the distance. It's very hard trying to race yourself. I did write a couple of blogs if you're bored ;-)

It is hard trying to maintain race pace on your own. I think you did a brilliant Sheepy Shuffle. I hadn’t been motivated to do my intervals sessions recently but had a really good threshold session this morning. Tomorrow I will have a rest day (because we’ll be traveling back home from the coast) and then I will make an effort to get out for my intervals run on Saturday morning.

Thanks everyone.
Running just to enjoy it on holiday sounds perfect, Ness ❤
Sometimes it's nice to just run without thinking about it too much 😊

It certainly is, Gemma. I have just enjoyed the novelty of running and seeing the sea views.

That's my 10 weeks done. I took a minute off my time. I may have been faster but it was raining and getting dark, had to watch my footing. Only missed 3 runs I think, I was so annoyed when I fell, nevermind. Will likely have a few weeks off and try again.

That's great Lesley, well done, possibly quicker in daylight then 👍 I hope you're all better now after that fall.

Thanks FF, I hope so. Will try that route another time when it's lighter. My knees are a little tender when I kneel on them but otherwise fine.

In week 2 and finding my legs really sore & tired despite decreasing mileage to compensate for faster pace. Hoping that the old body starts to adjust soon.

Hello CD :-) well done for completing week 2. I'm sure your legs will get used to it in time and behave for you. If not make them work harder to teach them a lesson :-)

Anyone else hovering in the background here or attempting PJ themselves? Reading back a little did you manage to do your intervals Ness?
