Darn forefoot pain - web search indicates Morton's Neuroma or Sesamoiditis Wonder if forefoot injuries are common with Pose/Chi runners

Hey RF, have you had it checked professionally? It could be all manner of things including metatarsalgia, muscle strain etc. You need to do that first.
To answer your question, it's not really a common complaint I ever hear about. Main ones are usually simple things like blisters when going down to more minimal footwear.
But anyway, you've been running big distances for quite a long time now. If there wasn't a specific moment that you noticed pain in your foot, then it could simply be that you did a long run when your body needed to have a rest.
Get it checked though, because some things are OK to run through, and something's definitely aren't.

Hey Jon - thanks for the response. Think have had niggles on it for awhile but typical response was to ignore it and might be due to going down to minimal footwear. Darn - I thought we were indestructible. Will get it checked professionally.
