I mean that's just BS Paul.

You don't have to like Starmer, and there's plenty to criticise about him and his policy positions without needing to make stuff up.

Suggest you have a read of the article I posted this morning.

Have the democrats only just now realised their candidate is a senile old duffer? Where have they been the last few years?

The Bangladesh comment he made has not gone down well for example - have you seen that?

I thought UK politics was bad then I watched the low lights from the US debate. Sad.

It was actually good news from the debate last night. Biden was heading for defeat in November; the Dems at least called for the debate before the convention (unprecedentedly early) to find out one way or the other.

The outcome is clear: replace him or lose. Such clarity means they will act, surely. It will be a whole different ball game with someone who can campaign, hold rallies and pressers and just looks on top of the brief.

The bad news would have been some sort of spinnable stalemate that kept him staggering on into the campaign proper.

Looks like the secret reform filming has gotten hold of the press, the honey trap person being a labour member isn't mentioned.

Phew. Are Reform now unraveling at a rate of knots.

In the US I agree, swapping Biden out and spinning it correctly would be a huge bonus.

The US thing is a disaster. I don't know what they do now.

Fork in the road for Biden: do what needs to be done of his own volition with dignity, class and followed by eternal gratitude for putting the country first.

Or fight like an alley cat to cling on, making the inevitable messy, damaging and leave with bad feelings and damaged reputation.

I fear the curmudgeonly old fuck will take the latter (which ultimately won’t matter as long as he’s not on the ticket in November).
