I very much like the idea that pensioners should have to do a bit of national service before getting their triple locked pensions. I’m sure it would be wildly popular with them too.

Tories are solidly chasing the pensioner vote and having to give exemption on pensions being taxed rather than being back rising thresholds they help everyone. Also Tory candidates seem to be trying to scam votes theguardian.com |
