Braverman is trying to make this a wedge issue isn't she? You're either entirely pro Hama's or entirely pro Israel work no middle ground available according to her. She sounds increasingly unhinged and if Sunak had any credibility he'd remove her in favour of a moderate. But as ever he is trying to weigh up what that would look like in the mind of the voter. |

I agree ^, I honestly don’t think Braverman is right in the head.

Btw, has she mistakenly referenced the OO by using the phrase assertion of primacy when referencing Northern Ireland? Their Unionist pals will be happy 😂

It's not even about what the (UK) voters think, it's about what the rabble of rancid bigots making up the rump of the conservative party think.

Braverman is setting out her stall to play to the substantial clump of regular voters identified (probably) in this yougov poll news.sky.com As ever, the rumours are that the knives are out for Sunak and it will be another leader that fights a general election. |

Interestingly rich "unhinged" is what another Conservative MP call her apparently. Horribly divisive language. No nuance. Highly likely to encourage mobs intent on a scrap to come to oppose the Ceasefire march, with the Home Secretary 's blessing. Grrr. |

I was trying to be kind with unhinged, what I really think is that she is stark raving, frothing at the mouth fascist mad, but felt that aligning her with hinges rather than people with mental health difficulties was a safer bet. Mean while more dubious thought process theguardian.com Johnson would know all about stooges being the stooge of Brexit architects such as JRM |

The board has been set and the pieces are in motion. Braverman and Sunak will regret their role in all this if a bunch of right wing nutters decide to have a go on Saturday.

As ever, the rumours are that the knives are out for Sunak and it will be another leader that fights a general election. 'Loses' rather than 'fights', surely... |
