I misposted, rather than mis-spoke. Helluva a good tune if you'd care to listen.

My apols.

My husband has just said he thinks it would be a good idea to bring Boris back. Also several acquaintances on Facebook. JFC, how short are people's memories? How are we even talking about bringing back a failed PM like it's quite good actually, as if the reasons for him leaving office were really not so bad and he's a jolly sort of chap, and besides, Volodymyr likes him. This is what the Trussterfuck has led to: an endless parade of utterly shit human beings looking quite alright compared to the current one?

Dispatch him to the shed😀

I've fucked off to Eastbourne for the weekend, after reminding him why BJ had to leave in the first place.

You’re kinder than me Ally-C, I was going to ask Carp when she was filing the divorce papers!

It is a worry though. Fortunately I’ve not heard anyone say this in real life yet (although my manager is on leave at the moment, and I can imagine her saying she’d be happy or have him back), but the sheer volume of tweets I saw last night from Tory party members who were delighted at the prospect of Johnson returning as PM was staggering (not to mention depressing).

Potential endorsements for Sunak-Johnson-Mordaunt:

Guido 65-59-20
Smarkets 57-41-18

Unnamed backers in Guido list split as 1-17-2 so take that with a large pinch of salt

Ooh, lordy:

Literally five minutes ago I had a Conservative MP tell me they expected Johnson to get the 100+ MP nominations needed to reach the final two, and to win among Tory members. Now Ben Wallace has seemingly endorsed him, that appears notably more likely. Brace for more chaos.

What happens if Johnson wins, maybe half (I don't know a much smaller figure would suffice) resign / cross the floor, then how does Johnson really go to the King and say he can command the confidence of the majority of MPs?

It's a typical election night - no idea until close of play!
