I've managed to avoid all coverage. I don't watch much TV and it's easy enough to just not click on social media. Your descriptions above are as close as I have come to any red, white and blue!
Tough times ahead for the country. I don't begrudge people a little bit of a diversion and enjoyment. It's only a diversion though. And it does feel like the estimated £1Bn spend on the various festivities could have been better used than scones and jam (and releasing CO2 into the already overloaded skies). Hmmm.

Beat me to the green miserabilism there, Happy.

I've avoided all of it, not bothering work terrestrial TV helps.
Down the hill from us, not a single bunt, so far I've not ventured up the hill where something is planned on the field where people take their dogs to shit.
I said it before, in these times of a cost of living crisis the spend on this is disgusting.
Should all have been sponsored events. Trooping of the colour brought to you by M&S etc.

Bozo roundly booed on the steps of St Paul's... Given the likely nature of the crowd that's not good news for him.

Just watched a clip on the Guardian (tsk at you for not revealing your source) I wouldn't go so far as to say roundly booed, but a lot of booing.
TBF the crowd may have taken issue that he looked like he was dressed in something he got as a rental about twenty minutes ago from Moss Bros

Nah - it was the sound of the crowd at Lord's shouting, 'Roooot!'

Not a great look if you can't rely on the goodwill of a bunch of flag waving, royalist, mittelenglanders at a service to honour the Platty Joob of HMQ though, is it? He is roundly detested across the political spectrum now. Because even in Brexit land there are still reservoirs of belief in fairness and decency. He has been revealed: shallow, entitled, clueless and shameless - four of the more controversial dwarfs.

The BBC have a different take on it:
“Boos and cheers for Boris Johnson as he arrives at Jubilee service”
I couldn’t hear many cheers tbh.

[actually mentioning that there was booing is a big step for the BBC which usually parrots whatever the government tells it to say]

"St Paul's crowd infiltrated by woke, socialist, BLM supporters who boo courageous Boris and radiant Carrie."
