Two of three word slogan, any more than that and the message gets confused. So "Gadzooks, I must concur, per ardua, that it would be amiss of me to exert pressure upon my majordomo and passepartout, simply pour ne pas encourager aux autres" just wouldn't work as well as "Let's move on" |

Also reckon there is a Trumpist element - they don't care as much about broad public acceptance but rather specific acceptance in the groups that will give them their next 80 seat majority - which they can do whilst still upsetting 57% of the population. It's much easier to just keep particular groups happy (as per that John Lydgate quote made famous by Abraham Lincoln). |
