There's definitely something about "goal congruity" in terms of setting NHS targets - but I don't think that just because targets have been set badly in the past means that there shouldn't be targets / standards that are used as benchmarks for consistency of service across the country.
Just ditching targets altogether so it can't be proved you're operating services which are missing those targets isn't the answer. Though it would be politically expedient.

Looks to me like the hard left will still be running the Labour party for the foreseeable future. Most likely to keep them out of power for yet another 5 years.

First prefs not enough to get over the line though. And it surely must be difficult to get an accurate survey given the complex make up of the OMOV electorate in the Labour party?

Well done Stander, good boy. We are at war with NHS A&E targets. We have always been at war with NHS A&E targets.

Run free - re: elec prices. We import ~7% of our electricity (see: http://www.mygridgb.co.uk/historicaldata/) and this has been stable since 2014 (despite falling demand - 298TWh in 2014 to 262.3TWh in 2019)
Not all of these imports are from the EU - some are from Norway. However re: pricing, this depends on the deal with EU and what is decided by 31st Dec 2020.

Chris - three words of warning about that data: 1. Need 50% to win outright 2. On this kind of polling there is going to be a huge margin of error. 3. There is a lot of time for the momentum to shift 3a. A lot of people might not have made their mind up yet.

Re: A&E targets.
Whether or not the targets themselves are rubbish or whether it's an accounting trick or whatever, the fact that remains is that waiting times in the NHS in general have got worse due to the Tories and their political choices.
