This looks like a massive climbdown by Farage. He's is using a video Johnson released last night saying he won't extend the Brexit transition as his rationale. He trusts Johnson.
I can only hope we see much less of him on TV during the election and beyond.

Agree massive climbdown BUT it is actually the logical thing to do to achieve his Brexit objectives.

If he still puts candidates in the labour marginals/swing seats then it will still benefit labour/lib dem though surely? As will split the tory votes in those seats more

He now has the option to fire just anti Labour vitriol at the campaign, rather than having to pitch the "BRINO" line against Boris. It's a simple move, and one which I think will be relatively decisive. Splitting even a small part of the Tory vote in some key constituencies was Labour's route to a more positve outcome. My Monday has just nosedived.

larks - and he's still doing that. Roberto is correct. It reflects what happened in 2015. But this time if the Lib Dem vote is higher, it will be of benefit.

This won’t save anything like all of the seats the Tories hold which are potentially heading to LD’s, and SNP.
The impact in the target Labour held seats is not known. The BP will still be fighting, but with much diminished impact. Many BP votes in these areas want leave but will NEVER vote Tory. Seeing BP as ‘Tory sell out puppets’ is more likely to send then back to Labour than still vote for BP or switch to Tory.

Just seen ‘this benefits the Tories in Wokingham but not in Workington’

^ agree, don't think Farage's move changes much.
Wonder if it is more to do with him loosing candidates and struggling to field all seats?
