Bizarre coincidence of the day number 1 - Between my earlier post and now, Swittle, I've been listening to Louis Theroux on the Distraction Pieces podcast. That's not any kind of political insight but there you go.

What was intended to be a light-hearted post by me just assumed wider significance, Nellers.

The sordid attempt to oust Tom Watson before the Labour party conference is certainly coming back to bite Mr Corbyn's cronies. Karma.

Sadly I cannot see any other result than a Tory majority. I will do my bit to stop that but it's like a corgi nibbling at a rhino's leg.

The only hope, I think, is if the idiocy of the 'Get Brexit Done' slogan can be exposed before election day. Seriously, I think if people actually realised how much Brexit is going to dominate politics for years to come unless it is stopped, a lot of the enthusiasm for Johnson would evaporate.

Hang on this prick had been promising to get it done for 3 years and more and here we are still in the EU. Why do people have any faith in him?

DG, the wardens who have people with mobility issues in their area get specific instructions and evacuations aids. Ive never had someone in that position in the area I cover.

HG - I have worked in maybe 12 different buildings. Largest went up to 7 floors with a -1 also. Layout very different but yes most are open plan of different sorts and with stairwells.

On all occassions evacuation complete before the FB arrived and I dont recall being told that FB instructions to be folllowed, but if they showed up I guess I would follow what they direct.

In the event of a real fire though its hard to know how you and others will react. Some of the videos they show you are quite scary.

Think all the parties including the Brexit Party will be saying BJ's deal with the EU sucks. Will it only be the Tory voters will think it is a good deal?

Name-calling will be called out, and Ad hominem will be frowned upon. :-) And whatabout-ery sits somewhere above responding to tone and below contradiction.
