Apparently about 15% of black evangelicals voted for Trump.

Has anyone seen the video of Trump's spiritual advisor that's been on social media recently? Having a look if I can locate it.

I don't pretend to understand American politics, but even more so I don't pretend to understand American religious groupings. But it seems there is plenty done in the name of being a religious group in the US that would be abhorrent over here.

What have you been advised to do with wheelchair users located in upstairs rooms?

I'm a fire warden in a four storey lab building. The stairwells are theoretically refuges for wheelchair users, but we also have escape chairs which roll down stairs on a captive belt (kind of like a rubber tank track) which help you evacuate them quickly.

Well it's interesting because the definition of the word "Evangelical" depends on the context in which it is said/written. Go into a church that has the word Evangelical in its name in a middle class white area and you'll hear a whole different sermon to that you might hear in a black poor urban church with the same word - evangelical - in its name.

(I have done this btw. The former scared the life out of me - at least partially because much of the congregation were heavily armed. The latter where we, wrongly, wondered about the wisdom of being the lone white couple in the building was deeply spiritual)

Which I suppose is a roundabout way of saying that I take your point.

"Paula White" may as well be wearing a t-shirt which says "I am on the make and you lot are easy marks".
Yes, FR, a congregation which is heavily armed always tends to ring alarm bells. Call me old-fashioned...

Name-calling will be called out, and Ad hominem will be frowned upon. :-) And whatabout-ery sits somewhere above responding to tone and below contradiction.
