Do you find the pain is in the same place each time? or does it move?

My left foot/heel is really anoying me with random hurty bits. I'm assuming it's PF and rolling with iced pedi -thing, stretching etc, but don't know why pain moves and is random?

Yeah it can move around, even up into the ankle.

b*ll*cks - I was hoping you'd say PF is just in one place!

this morning, walking tthe dog, it feels like I've got a big blister on the side of the heel pad - there's nothing there. Yesterday, after running Sat and Sun, nothing at all.

Thata exactly the fella, worked a treat for me....but PF is an awkward beast and I know reacts differentkly for everyone and others have said the pediroller is useless

I use the pediroller every day. Seems to keep the PF at bay but doesn't stop me worrying it's coming when I get the odd twinge in the arch.

Sadly I think I may be starting to get a PF problem but it comes and goes and doesn't hurt first thing in the morning, feels more like I have bruised the outside edge of my foot from heel to little toe. Have ordered a pediroller I am currently using a spikey ball which seems to do something, just not sure if it's really helping

that's how mine is - sometimes, then it will go away for a few days, then sometimes running it feels like I have a big blister and another time like I've trodden on a stone - and then it goes away again for a while.. Rarely it is very very sore first thing in the morning. Struggling to see what makes it better and what worse :(

I'm another one who didn't get first thing in the morning pain with my PF. I'd feel it walking across the office at work or at lunchtime. Everyone's experience seems to be slightly different.

I managed to get on top of mine by understanding what caused it (biomechanics for me), getting some fab physio treatment and advice, then gradually building up running, strength and balance.

Now I'm super sensitive to it and stop at the very first suggestion of a niggle and hit it with lots of stretching and rollering of foot and calf. happy to say it rarely bothers me now (touch wood).
