Sales people who call themselves "Account Managers" or "Territory Managers" etc. What's wrong with the S word, does it scare them or what?

A friend had her job title changed without any change in responsibilities, pay, prospects or anything else. A week later she had to make an insurance claim for her car, and put the new job title on the claim. The insurance company said she'd not informed them of a material change in her circumstances, or some such, but very generously agreed to the claim although they reckoned she'd technically not been insured. Then they increased the premium by £20.
If I worked with people like that, they would annoy me.

Her boyfriend maybe had a lucky escape - you still have to work with her.
