Ladies in one of my workplaces who throw short-notice flouncy-sickies on a Friday, which is the one day I'm fully committed at my other workplace and can't cover. I'll bet the scheming cow knew exactly what she was doing

People who decide to cancel sandwiches at lunchtime training sessions then exponentially increase the number of lunchtime training sessions cos of the credit crunch and lack of work!

I've found the same phenomenon in various places too, Max. Those who are vociferously Christian, or vociferously Buddhist, often manage to be both sanctimonious and unsavoury individuals, though the best example I ever came across was someone who wasn't religious but who shoved her secular do-goodery in your face at every opportunity.

From Jesus' teaching, anyone might imagine that Christians were the least judgmental people in the world.... They'd be wrong.

Indeed, Chris. I think people interpret religious teaching according to what fits best with their own personality
Which means, of course, that some of the loveliest people I've known - some real I-want-to-be-like-you people - have also been Christians. But it's not their faith that makes them lovely, it just gives them a hook on which to hang their kindness and tolerance.
