The Harwich parkrun course is very easy to do on your own Mrs J - Start at the bandstand, do a clockwise loop of the park back to the bandstand then down the slope to the prom turn right for as far as you can go on concrete turn round come back top of the slope continue round on the same loop as the start until you reach the bandstand again. And if you are out and about in Harwich tonight watch for the LV18 lightship flashing its light near the ha'penny pier and Pier Hotel at midnight in honour of Johnnie Walker who was the patron of the charity that runs it.

You could always come to Alton Water instead in the morning (its about half an hour's drive from Harwich). Even though it sounds like there is a howling gale going on right now they won't cancel - they never do!

Thanks, I would love to say yes as you are high on my list of Fetchies I want to meet but I think Jigs is set on a run from the premier inn.

Ah well - enjoy Harwich. I've not committed to volunteering in the morning as I've been at work today so will decide in the morning if I'm opting for a run or a lie in!
