larkim 20 Aug 7:11am, 20 Aug 2024 25,388 posts	0 larkim Newcastle is packed with good parkruns! Drove 3 hours to do Jesmond Dene a few years ago (and pick up son from uni!) only for it to be cancelled due to ice! (Along with all the others that day). But I've run around the route, it is lovely.

forest plodder 20 Aug 10:19am, 20 Aug 2024 2,837 posts	0 forest plodder I'd recommend Jesmond Dene. I've also done Town Moor and Rising Sun, on separate visits. I'd say Jesmond was the most scenic, but a tough uphill start.
