Today was my 100th Parkrun at Edinburgh (Cramond). 106th Parkrun overall. I finished behind a gut with a Cramond Centurions vest on which appears to be a club of people who have done parkrun 100 times, but I can find no details on this. Anyone in the know?

Was this gut attached to a person? 😂

Reminds me of a chaser email I once typed that started. I know you are busty.

Went touristing to Rutland Water today - very flat and fast, perfect weather. Got a Season's Best and my highest WAVA for some time, 71.84. Very pleased with that.

I learned to touch-type a long, long time ago, and am very fast but with a slight tendency to get all the letters but not necessarily in the right order. I often type toady for today ('thank you for meeting me toady').

I do that a lot when touch typing (though mine is a fairly basic skill it’s quite useful). The two I get wrong most are cearmic for ceramic and orthodotnic for orthodontic.

I had a nice run at Gunnersbury. About a mile warmup from the hotel, and a two lap course. When you’re used to a three-lapper the laps seem very long! My local, Harrogate, is a square, so it breaks up really easily into small sections. I hadn’t realised how much I use that until today.

I can touch type but sometimes especially at work my brain is working faster than my fingers so can look a bit dyslexic at times :-)

Crathes done this morning - I really don't like trails or hills and it combines both but for some reason it's quite a nice course....if only they got rid of the up hill finish ;-)

That finish is character building LG. But after it the slightly easier Lanark Moor finishing hill was a breeze ;-) .

In my recent run of tough courses I'd say LM was on a par with Fort William. Tougher than Plean and Crathes but a not quite competing with Scotland's reigning 'hardest parkrun' Drumchapel.
