I am tempted to aim for my missing "15" but the frustration of getting official 14s or 16s might send me over the edge.

From Elliott Line's stats, around 40% of UK parkruns were cancelled last week, and there were fewer than half as many runners. It'll be interesting to see how the numbers bounce back in better conditions. I went to my nearest run, where I had expected considerably higher numbers as the other local one was cancelled, but there wasn't much uplift. And no walkers, which unusual. (Possibly people had expected Plean to be cancelled as well and just decided it would make a good weekend off - at solidly sub-zero, not unreasonable.)

My personal 'bingo' favourite is finishing position. Not wholly inclusive I realise as you need a modicum of speed or the ability to find a really small event, but it needs no special travel and even a jog with the dog can net a new position.

Been on 56/60 since first becoming aware of bingo many runs ago (out of 197 runs). Once upon a time I could have calculated how long I'd take for the last 4 numbers on average (without cheating). But my last college stats class was back before parkrun existed.

DoP I think the only way I'm getting a top 10 finish is by going to prison.

I managed one, complete with age group win, at Haverhill. I think there were 36 runners there.

My only top ten finish was a nasty old day at Wormwood Scrubs, I think only 31 turned up!

My fastest finish is not my highest position. I managed 12th at a parkrun I later PBed at though on that occasion finishing further down the field. I was only so high because the weather was dreadful and only 60 turned up compared to a normal week of 3 times that. I think most of the faster runners stayed away...
