Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

hmmm "Can you get through it without more than 3 min rest between transitioning from the 5k?"

Can the scanners be extra chatty and take their time this week?

Macho BS.

I didn't realise that smashing parkrunners was an option. Adds a new element to the post run social, I suppose.

Mustn't say it too loudly or my wife will start to wonder what it is I actually get up to when I go to parkrun on a Sunday afternoon ;-)

After considering the "smashing" post carefully I have concluded that it is over 93% likely that the author has (possibly inadvertently) made his movement seem like a bunch of tossers

Have you been wondering why parkrunners are so short and the world 5K record seems soft?

Oh i wish I was coming down for that.

Being military fit doesn't make you a 5km runner :-)

At Swansea Bay 10K on Sunday, recently retired Swansea City midfielder Leon Britton en.wikipedia.org ran a very creditable 42:47 as an insight into what realistically being very fit at something else can do for you.

I'm ED, and I have keys to a hut, Pedro. I'm often 'in the park' 'dropping off the kit'.

That's my story and I'm sticking with it ;-)

We have the BMF people doing their stuff not far from our course. Each to their own of course, but being shouted at BMF-style would put me off any exercise for life :-(
